Ingredients:
- 1 pound bacon (sliced and diced)
- 16 eggs
- 1 cup milk (evaporated)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup butter
- Half cup of flour
- 4 cups of milk
- ½ pound sliced beef (dried), slice into small parts
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 to 4 ounce can slice mushrooms (drained)
- Pepper
Directions for egg breakfast casserole
1. Sautee bacon in a large skillet until it is crisp and tender. Take off the bacon and drain excess oil.
2. In a skillet, add the mushrooms, beef and pepper, then, sprinkle the flour. Stir well until evenly mixed.
3. Slowly pour the milk to the mixture, then, cook using low heat. Constantly stir until it starts to thicken. Add the bacon and stir. Set it aside.
4. In big bowl, beat the eggs, at the same time, pour the evaporated milk and sprinkle the salt.
5. In a separate skillet, melt the butter, then, add the eggs. Gently stir and cook over medium heat till the eggs starts to set.
6. Place half of the eggs in a dish. Shortly, pour half of the sauce on the dish with eggs. Pour the remaining eggs and the sauce.
7. Cover and refrigerate over night.
8. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
9. Baked covered for 25 to 30 minutes.
10. Serve
