Ingredients:
- 2 large (250 g) ripe bananas (mashed)
- 6 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs (beat lightly)
- 1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
How to make banana nut bread:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly sprinkle flour on a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
2. Mash the bananas using a fork, and then, add the melted butter, plus, vanilla extract. Toss the nuts into the mixture, stir well. Gently beat the eggs.
3. Combine the mixture of mash banana and eggs; blend the ingredients together until smooth.
4. Add the dry ingredients (baking soda and powder) and the banana mixture. Toss the walnuts along.
5. Evenly mix all the ingredients together until there is no more flour is visible or when the mixture is homogenous.
6. Pour in the batter to the loaf pan, then, bake for about 55 minutes in the oven.
7. Once the required time is up, it is expected that the banana nut bread is done. To test, insert a wooden toothpick at the center of the loaf bread, it should come out dry and clean.
8. Let the pan cool off for 10 minutes. Afterwards, remove the bread from the pan.
